Do you have ANY idea why I have been shorting DELL? Do you?

<<<You, and the other bears offer no reasonable arguments for Dell cratering, and world economic collapse doesn't do it.>>

This is a classic example of "if a misinformation is repeated often enough, it becomes truth."

I have stated MANY times why I have shorted DELL, and it is NOT because I see impending world financial mkt collapse. (althought the US mkt does appear to be teetering on the edge-- I posted this a month or so ago before the "top" on 4/15:

Message 4298764

You should take the time to read it and think about what I said then and what has transpired since. The mkt looks to be putting in a top that could unravel as soon as next week. Notice the NASCRAP really broke down bad last week. Things have gotten alot worse since. The dollar looks to be weakening now which could be the trigger for a massive selloff.

Back to DELL, like I said, I've discussed DELL's fundamental problems that I see many times:

techstocks.com

These are just the first ones that I came across in a search I ran. There are many more. (I can't even believe I am having to do this? Substantiate my claims that I have made claims on an internet board--LOL!! I won't be doing this again. :))

Notice what I said about squeezed margins and the slowdown in the PC business, and then consider what analysts were saying this past week. I told you that a MONTH ago! GEE, guess I just got lucky, eh? Guess it was just another insult and unsubstantiated drivel (it is "drivel" BTW-- "dribble" is not the word to be used there)

Also note what I said about the sub 1000 mkt being "where DELL need to be." Everyone laughed at me at the time, called me names and threw insults. Now I see you're discussing the same thing?

techstocks.com

The pushed back orders that I am hearing about from suppliers won't show up in the public realm till next qtr.

techstocks.com

we got that confirmation this week. (How am I doing so far?)

I honestly don't know what you people want. I have MANY times given you my arguments for why DELL is extremely overvalued at current levels, and all I receive in turn are posts like yours. I am asked what I see on the global horizon, and I answer... and I am flamed for it.

Also "It just you offer up unsubstanciatable dribble that is heavily spiced with personal insults"

If you can find one, just one, post where I have haevily spiced a post w/ personal insults. I'd like to see it. I'm "throwing down the gauntlet" as Chuz would say. Post it, if there is such a thing. I don't think you can because it has NEVER happened. And I am not talking about "monkeys w/ buy buttons" that was a general stmt and not directed at one indivudal. I'm talking about the real kiddie stuff like what I receive: "Hey Lude", "Hey Ludicrous", "I don't think you know anything and likely just have a high school education"

That kinda crap. Now, I did lose my temper once w/ Meat, and I'll give you that one. But please post away if you can find one. I don't think you can. Just another example of how misinformation becomes seemingly truth if it is repeated often enough.

<<If you offered compelling arguments supported by fact >>
This is rich. What do you expect me to back up my arguments w/ since they are all forward looking???? Most every argument by the bulls on this board is a retrospective fact game. It is easy to look back at prior qtrs and compute DELL's growth rate and cite it or compute the ROI for the past 5 yrs. The difficult part (and what the mkt looks at) is determining the future. There are no facts for this. Once they become fact, it is no longer future, and the stock already has the info priced in. All one can do is make well reasoned hypothesis on what is "likely" to be the future outcome.

Like I've been saying recently though. This thread has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be posting here in the future. Since you posted this to me I am responding, but I am sure the bulls will be happy to know that I am sticking to my word and will no longer be discussing the problems of DELL on this thread. I will try and pull together a list of greatest hits of the insults and name calling that has been posted to me since I arrived on this thread a mnth ago. Like I said: it really is quite funny.

MEAT: techstocks.com
I see you never asked me anything after calling into question not only my intelligence, but my background, education, and career history? Once again... simple name calling and insults just like I thought.

Good luck!
