I am really going to throw this discussion into a debate.

I wear boxer/ briefs. They are long like boxers, but tight like briefs.

I have been wearing them for years, and my Dad, even though he is now gone, tried them and began wearing them after I told him about them.
He had always been an old time boxer brief guy.

To each his/or her own. I kind of like silk boxers if I'm feeling a little frisky though.
