Here is the latest form AG Edwards: Recent Development: (05/18/98) Analysis of market share data recently released Last night after the close, one of the most followed market research firms in the networking industry released information regarding the first quarter performance and adjusted their expectations for the next four quarters. Believe it or not, the first quarter came in stronger than originally anticipated. For the quarter, the total shared hub and LAN switch revenues grew 2% sequentially and 15% year-over-year. The upward surprise was driven mainly by a 6% sequential increase in port count. Average prices fell about 4% sequentially. We were looking for a slight sequential fall off in total market revenues so this news is the first good news out of this area in almost a year. ----------------------------------------------- Just thought you all might want to know.
