Warrants are generally issued by the
underwriter to facilitate selling a bond or
prefferred stock offering..also used for
difficult IPOs ..ie a "unit"..2 shares of
common plus a warrant..etc.

The "arbs" will exercise all the warrants in
short order now that they are "in the money"
IE trading at a value above the exercise price..
