Borb - To the gamblers in the group, whether Bay has an offer or whether it chooses to announce said offer at Supercom is immaterial. What matters is whether enough speculators believe they will. IMHO, the late day rally and heavy call volume represent bets that Bay will appreciate between now and Supercom on the expectation that they are being taken out (same thing happened with MER a month or so ago and the price has remained high on buyout speculation). Of course, if no bids materialize, this perceived premium could vanish quickly so I would see this as a short-term swing trade at best. Good luck.
