Joshua,
That's a telling point there. We are directed to pray "in the name of Jesus". If someone said in the name of Yeshua which means Joshua or savior that's not the same. Many claim to be a savior, I think it's crucial to identify Jesus by name. With Messianic Judaism using Yeshua to mean Jesus when it actually means savior that is exactly the kind of sly twisting of the truth that is the trademark of a cult. Who is the savior of Messianic Judaism? If they say Yeshua, who is that? Which savior. If they think it means Jesus but say Yeshua which is not Jesus, does Jesus hear their prayers? I think not. He responds to His name. If they say they are saved in the name of Yeshua, who is that? Do you see the problem? It's not Joshua (the biblical Joshua), he can't save anyone.

Thanks,

Bob
