Zeev, you IEI won't work because interpreting neg vs pos posts is too subjective. I think the answer lies in sifting for incidence of occurances of kinds of words/phrases.

If you look carefully at many posts as a stock goes down they actually show a number of positive comments... the opposite I suppose of "wall of worry" comments, maybe "wall of confidence" is what I mean.

The sentences are quite confident that its a small pullback, that business is great must be an insider unloading for retirement, that analysts are hot, etc.. Yet underlying this problem there is a vocabulary to "wall of worry" and "wall of confidence" talk. This might take a while to work through by matching use of words to where they occur on the actual up/down paths of stocks.

I'd rather the data speak for itself than assume I or you or anyone has a good grasp of analyzing mood change.
