Well, on the shorting of stocks, I am really confused. I have heard all sorts of ideas, and when I asked Ameritrade, they told me it had to be a marginable stock and had to be trading above $3.00. According to them, no BB stock may be margined, therefore no BB stock may be shorted. From what I hear about other brokers, though, it appears that this is a decision of the individual brokers and not a regulation. If however, anyone has an idea of which law applies, I will be happy to research it to see what is true and what is discretionary ... :-_
