Dan: I find it odd, also.
What's really weird is that the US government will give away our space secrets, our military technology, but if you as a private citizen try to sell a webtv to a foreigner, (in another country) you will be breaking the law.
(I believe it has to do with the US Government being scared that they won't be able to monitor the emails, webtv has the latest encryption)
