Tommy, Janko, this about Spain, and sorry to the rest of us...
Hey, we're back online here in M laga, and don't believe Janko's skepticismn, it's a beautiful town - especially cause no tourists come up to here. You must make it in Spain or you get nothing - not wonder, that our "just" English speaking friends don't like this metropolitain area. But you, Janko - I'm sure you're a lot better speaking Spanish than my old Pamplona-friend HangingWay?
We went from C diz via Puerto de Santa Maria to Jer‚z (we loved it, but where's the sea), then to Ronda (stayed at the Parador near by the bridge, nice town, good for a day-trip, a few pics, a walk, but for living???? Janko, Ulcine (similar?) is "Manhattan" compared to Ronda.
Yesterday we went to Nerja, that's one of the most sympathetic tourist-towns I've ever seen. I made dozens of pics (I use my brain, having no camera with me...) during a beautiful walk along the beaches, and the old "city" hasn't seen me the last time. It's worth a sin, and we did it. (g)
A few miles behind Nerja, we visited the largest caves of Spain - by far more impressing than the caves northwest of Ronda, but not that fascinating as the caves of Lanzarote.
re. Tommys remarks I should add a percentage: 10-15%. That's the content of reality, when he makes comments to persons around here - and it's my current investment too... (g) Hm, there was a moment he was really honest - when he presented red roses to "his" ladies...
Janko, hope to meet you too some day, perhaps here in Spain?
