SellShort,

I guess I really don't have any favorite stocks. I love them all when they go up, and hate the ones that go down.

My best performing one to date has been lu. I did pretty well on lhspf, also, but when it recently fell from the 60's to the high 40's I sold half my holdings in it to get my original investment back, and let the rest ride. It is holding in the mid 40's now, or was the last time I looked.

As far as the reason's I like a particular stock, I like mostly tech stocks, but also some of the stocks I like because I like the companies products. hdi for instance. I own a little pg because i like their products, a little d, (Dominion Resources) because they are my electric supplier, and since I've got to buy from them I may as well share in a piece of the pie. (That may change when I have a choice of electrical suppliers.

I mostly hold "Blue Chips", but am always on the prowl for a good investment, wherever I can find it. Sometimes I seem to be too cautious, but my caution almost always pays off in the long run. I definately am not a day trader. I don't want or need the stress.

Thanks for the invitation to chat, I'll be around from time to time.
Phil
