Skipper, it is well within our means as a very prosperous society to make sure that no one goes hungry. So it would not remain true unless we choose to tolerate hunger.

I did not say you were heartless!! It is just hard for me to understand the philosophical underpinnings of the position that hunger is acceptable, and I hoped you might explain it.
