I had a big chuckle about your experience renting your plane. My brother-in-law had a twin Aztec that he sold many years ago (he now has a twin Senecca II). To make a long story short, the Feds called him about a year later and wanted to know who he sold it to - it was never reregistered. Guess what that baby must have been carrying over the border. Good thing he had a bill of sale!
Anyway, I will stop procrastinating and get back to earning my ticket, in the not too distant future, I think...<VBG>. A close friend of my son, is certified multi-engine, commercial, instructor, IFR (you name it); my brother-in-law is an instructor, soooo, I really have no excuse. My son's friend is also being trained by a commercial airline to fly with them (I'm jealous).
Anyway, was glad to be given the opportunity to buy more Nextel on Friday for pennies on the dollar (today's pennies will, IMO, become tomorrow's dollars). Did some portfolio shifting in my families and personnal accounts, and left some powder dry for further buying opportunities, if, as projected by some, it tests the 22 support level. Since I only hold long positions, for me, it's just a question of time.
