Evening Bill,

Just thought you'd like to know the....

'rest of the story!!!'...gotta turn in pretty soon!...

'Liberty' tomorrow!!!!yessssss

The 'story of 'America!'.....(to all historians...sorry)

I'll try to be brief,....but keep in mind..

we're talking 200+ yrs....

The 'tea thing' on Congress St...

& Atlantic Av...or there abouts..

1773 - The 'Tea Party'.

and then stuff happened for a couple of years......

which brings us to.......

1775 - By then, 'The Brits' had had it up to their 'ears'..

with 'us'!!! and outa 'frustration'.....

Fired on 'Monica's grandma x4' people, (Lexington and Concord).....up

until then 'a' minuteman'...

had never been 'said no to'...(blame 'ole Tondalayo')

1776 - A year later and (we the people) felt that...

'Ole King George III' wasn't getting the message, .....

(please keep in mind that 'ole Georgie the third's subjects'

were already unhappy with his 'domestic policies'....

not to mention the way he was handling ......

'Foreign policy')..

Realizing this ...the Continental Congress...

(originators of the term CC)...

decided to blast an E-sail to the 'British people'..

and their Parliment'...with a cc...

to 'Georgie the third'...

Basicly the E-sail stated,

"We think you stink"...

Otherwise known as the "Declaration of Independence"......

This was sent to them in 1776,...

They either did not understand...or didn't get..

the message until 1783...

(you know how slow E-sail was){no fed-ex, or ups then!}

They met their 'Waterloo' at 'Yorktown' in 1781 (hello!!!)...

Their 'Parliment' then got the message...

and decided to sign a 'formal treaty'...

recognizing the independence of the Colonies.(1783)

What we found ourselves left with was,

the fact that the 'Brits'....

finally realized that the 'Colonies'...

were a non-performing investment..and/or..

'trading post'........

Consequently the Colonies became a........

'perfect empty shell' for a....you guessed it....A....

'reverse merger'.....

J. Hancock (insurance mogul) felt that a symbol change....

was necessary....'New World' he felt was old......

'Colonies' was already being used...

by the rest of the world...

(with various sundry conotations)....

he was looking for something fresh!

Hence, we became "America" aka (sym) 'USA'.....

"Home of the Brave".."Downtrodden"...

"Lafayette"......"Statue of Liberty"....etc.

(sorry to skip ahead but again this is just an overview)

That brings us through the 1800's, they weren't easy!..

(but, by then we had a solid base)...

Brings us to the 1900's....

'Too bad about the Titanic'...(Leo's Ancestors!)

'World War 1' if only that soverign could have.....

avoided being 'assinated' he could have saved us ...

from '2 world wars'...(boy what a loser)...

Which brings us to the 1950's....

Let me cut through this 'cause it's already past my bedtime!

'The McCarthy Hearings' ....'Elvis'.....'The Beatles'....

'Nixon'......

'The Swine Flu Vaccine'....'Billy Beer'....

'Iran Contra'.....which brings us to..

'O.J'.....(sorry but he really ...k's).....

Let there be 'No mistake I could go on and on....

just-a-thought ....about 'Ken Starr'.....by the way 'Kenny'.....

leave 'Tondelayo's.....greatx4 'grandaughter'.....

alone....

pvt jat.....ps...

'poet' your turn.....
