BLHG - Beacon Light Holding Corp. Review 03-24-98
Trying to learn DD and wanted to post observations from surfing today. Have some questions that I feel most have answered and can help me with. Looking for a stock to invest in...
Most of my info was acquired from Wall Street Daily. Don't know if credible, my first visit to Web site. They received 200,000 shares in compensation for researching their company. 1st I hope that the share trade is for more than 10 pages of research? GB - No hired PR firm? "The materials contained on Wall Street Daily site have been culled from sources deemed reliable and are for the sole purpose of providing general information." I think they should post their resources, assuming some came from outside the company and it's principles. Can they publish research and sell their share the next day or week? Might be profitable with no restrictions.
Estimated Float 1,700,000? Why not say actual?
"Chose to discard mining operations and restructure Beacon Light as an acquisition stage company." Maybe new folks didn't know anything about mining? How can you have 0 assets and acquire someone and increase balance sheet $5.1 million?
Pinnacle International will be paid a management fee per contract agreement? What is the agreement? How and How much?
Love this one "Valued at $9.3 million by an independent appraisal, (no credentials?) the joint venture has provided Beacon Light shareholders with an increase in book value of $1.26 per share on the assets alone. Which shareholders? Present or future? On how many shares? Estimate profit margin of approximately 25 % based on the china venue. What is china venue?
Based on $50 million in sales "These projections significantly impact Beacon Light's bottom line as earnings per share on the outstanding 3,351,422 shares of common stock will be in the range of $2.05/share. On a fully diluted basis the earnings per share will be $0.82/share. This translates to a stock price projection of $18.00-20.00 for fiscal 1998." Wait gone to get my calculator. Can't figure this out, can someone help?
Sales: $50 million. Southeastern Food Supplies (any relatives here?), "They have requested , subject to price verification, an initial order of four shipping containers monthly of various sizes of plastic food containers with matching lids." If price not verified, DO WE HAVE A PURCHASE ORDER? W.L.S. International "has submitted a purchase order for 1,200,000 pens every 3 months at $0.75 apiece." (Previous pens cost .15 to produce) Every quarter till when? How many people are there in the government of Indonesia? Wait I am assuming they are for Indonesia? Wait gone to get my calculator. = $900,000 Wonder how much it cost to buy a gross of pens at local office supply? These pens cost almost as much as chips? What happens if they don't like quality from first shipment of pens? Heritage Forest Products, "has submitted a purchase order for plastic protective edges to be used for shipping its lumber." That sounds like innovation to me, protect the pallet stacks. If cost effective could be used in many other material shipping areas. But what does submitted mean? National Boston Medical. Inc. "A developer and manufacturer", gave Pinnacle exclusive right to MANUFACTURE, maybe we should buy their stock seems profit just went up.
Investment Banking Agreement Signed. "LWS will also assist with the financing for the recently announce initial purchase orders" Do our customers have a problem with credit?
Could go on and on, but wonder if someone will give me 200 shares for my DD? Have a safe and fun MEMORIAL DAY.
