I'm tired of speculators in this ORBI stock...
Before there were few people on either the Yahoo thread or the SI
thread. Now there are a number of new people on both threads,
especially the Yahoo thread.
We must understand the facts before the hype! ORBI lost a $400
million dollar contract with Ellipso, diluted the crap out of their
stock, they are selling a good part of the business as an IPO (ORBC),
and insiders are selling like crazy from stock options which dilutes
the crap out of the stock even more. Who knows when the launches
will take place, and for all we know the June launch will be
extended through next March 1999. The company should stop
teasing us with dates and postponing continually! LOR is also
having problems with the government due to a China launch. There
is also negative feelings on satellites in general because of the
meteor storms this coming fall. THESE ARE FACTS!
Now the hype says that the stock is the best thing ever found,
especially by ORBI lovers on the Yahoo thread. No one believes the
stock will be a stock in the $30's, there is hype about Boeing which
can not be proven (yet), and every time someone says something
negative on the stock, someone seems to put that person down as
if that person is mindless. THESE INDICATE A FROTHY STOCK PRICE
WHEN THE FACTS PROVE OTHERWISE!
MY PERSONAL OPINION: I am tired of this stock and all the people
on the boards that are disrespectfull to others. I am tired of
the volatile ORBI stock that goes along with these rude people.
Truly I wish to sleep good at night, so I am not buying this
stock back until fundamentals and FACT change to the positive side
from the current negative, if it ever does actually. I really
don't care if the stock has great earnings or gets bought out,
because the stock is in a downtrend anyway. Besides, I'd rather
buy into a company that buys it's stock back, is at a reasonable
valuation to book and PE (below 34 to 40), and more of a blue chip
company that is not going away in a year. I think Motorola fits
my ticket and a good play into TELEDESIC (26% stake). I have not
written on the Yahoo board in a while, and now no longer on here.
I guess there is no reason to follow this board if I do not own
the stock, right! Anyway, for those ORBI die hards, GOOD LUCK TO
YOU AND I HOPE ORBI TURNS OUT TO MAKE YOU FOLKS A GOOD FORTUNE!
