Thomas..I can't have a position in cpq because they are a vendor.. I'm trying to get clarification now if I can put cpq or own stock or anything. I got concerned about this when I started thinking about a cpq split and then I could own it and diversify into two stocks instead of one stock (atml). I manage options positions on stocks and have called atml to the dollar also. I don't get any inside info just becasue they are a vendor.. But, on insider trades you have to prove that you didn't know ...they don't have to prove that you did.... As you can see if you go back almost 3 months I can call a stock almost perfect to the point some time... YOU TELL ME WHAT THE SEC IS GOING TO BELIEVE... 1. one I declared the cpq put a trade I would not make but if you had to put then wait til it was 75-76 for first put.. Of course I predicted this while compaq was in low 60's and trying to stop people from putting way too early. I never stated this was a trade I would make and resent the use of the word fake without complete clarification. I may never have any position in cpq if I don't get a clearance. That's how clean I like to trade legally. 2. I have stated fact and precept based on following this stk since before it was public (1982) and being in pc industry for 16 yr and in manufacturing for 14 yrs. before that. I'm in the process of dragging out all these facts now so their complete accuracy can to evaluated. 3. Also, I indicated that the street would tank stk but that EPS would not tank.. and it would come right back over months or 2 qtrs at most when street realized their mistake. 4. I also have tried to bring a balance between the LF and MB view on cpq.. imbalance to a certain level is never a healthy position on any stock.. ask those with jan 55puts they paid 4+ ( now worth 1/4) for and others who had puts that expired worthless already.. loading up on calls could do the same thing.. I said could because it would imply a timing knowledge. 5. If the thread doesn't want any of my input then I said I would stop... emails and post indicate this isn't true.. the positive to hate mail is about 20 to 1.. If that reverses to 5 positives to 1 negative then despite still being positive I'll stop completely..I promise. I have a question..have you read all my posts???? Your post tells me that maybe you haven't/
