Ray,

There were some interesting points made in that last set of articles you posted, specifically related to the use of the public internet vs private intranets, and the targeted market, retail vs wholesale.

Since using the public internet makes a VOIP provider susceptible to congestion and therefore, poorer quality of service, isn't FNET going to face that problem by using the WCOM backbone network? Won't they be competing with VOIP companies using private intranets for their service?

I haven't called FTEL recently, so I am unaware of their marketing strategy for FNET. Do you know if they are going after the consumer or wholesale market and who is doing the marketing/sales function for them internationally?

For those who tend to criticize people who ask questions, please ignore this post. I am just trying to have a technical/implementation discussion, and yes, I acknowledge I haven't done my homework by calling FTEL for the answers.
