I would only add that I have begun noticing that while in the past many of the PC rags gave Dell the 'editors choice' award, this has now begun to change, and other companies are getting them, such as Gateway, which you mentioned. In the PC magazine case, they said it was a case of Gateway providing more 'bang for the buck'...
