The physical building out is the easiest thing to do. What takes tons of time and resources is getting the rights of use of street lights, network optimization, cash, etc. Heck, with the current build outs that are happenning, even finding people to build out networks is a problem!!! I figure MCOM has about 2-3 years to build its network into 'decent' coverage. Once circuit-switched CDPD, etc. arrive, the carriers will have 144 and even 384 kbps rates with superior coverage - and let's not forget those marketing $$s to push their technology. I think appliations will not be a significant issue.
