FIELD OPERATIONS / Canadian Blackhawk ADEN WELL COMMENCES PRODUCTION CALGARY, May 25 /CNW/ - Canadian Blackhawk Energy Inc. (ASE:CBZ) announced today that it has commenced production from its exploratory gas well at Aden, in southeast Alberta. The well was frac-ed in February 1998 and flowed at a stabilized rate of 1.3 million cubic feet (mmcf) per day during subsequent testing. The well, in which Blackhawk holds a 35% interest is currently producing 1.02 mmcf per day. The company owns an interest in 3,840 acres in the Aden area and is currently conducting a seismic program on the acreage to help identify additional drilling locations.
