From E-Data email list:
A Notice of Appearance dated May 22, 1998 has been filed on behalf of IGE/E-Data, indicating that two new lawyers are appearing on behalf of that party.
The new lawyers are Albert L. Jacobs, Jr. and Philip M. Weiss of the law firm of Graham & James. (Their web site is at gj.com .) The web site says, in part:
Founded in San Francisco in 1934, Graham & James today has some 400 attorneys in offices in key U.S. business and government centers, and is part of an international network of more than 1,000 lawyers in 30 offices around the globe.
Mr. Jacobs was first admitted to practice in 1964 and is admitted to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office. (On the records of the USPTO, Mr. Jacobs is listed with a different law firm, Rosenman & Colin.) Mr. Weiss was first admitted to practice in 1993.
The Notice does not mention Mr. Fink, heretofore the counsel of record for IGE/E-Data.
I wonder whether someone who is of record in the Connecticut case might be able to let me know if a similar notice has been served in the Connecticut case. ---------------------------------------- A letter dated May 20, 1998 has been received from Mr. Fink stating the following:
I have been contacted by Judge Jones' chambers to arrange a mutually convenient date for all of the parties for a status telephone conference in the above-referenced matter.
The Court is available on the following dates: June 3, 1998 at 3:30 PM or June 4, 1998 at 3:30 PM. Kindly let me know your preference. In addition, please let me know who will organize the telephone conference on behalf of all the defendants.
In addition to the Apache Plume address previously given by Mr. Fink, his new stationery says "please use: P O Box 711063, Houston, TX 77271".
