I am not a big fan of the Divx concept (I also liked Beta over VHS) but I suppose it will appeal to some. That said, I still think Divx will help Nimbus. As far a I can tell they are pretty much the only replicator for Divx disks, that means they have some business from nearly every studio. CC has a $150 million budget to advertise for Divx. This will be just as great for Divx as open DVD. The masses will be made aware of DVD (whatever the format). Not to mention that by Xmas most PC's will be sporting DVD drives and MS should have its win 98 act in full swing. (Hopefully with several DVD's of their own...pressed by nmbs) As LF stated, the company has positioned it self for DVD, The media just has to move!
