You have to think that TI is comitted and will deliver on its product commitment for the DMD. TI has committed its best management to the Digital Imiging division and this shows their resolve to make this a viable business. I really think that TI's upper management will do whatever it takes to get all the bugs worked out of DMD. After all, they are going to have a huge influx of cash from the sale of their defense business (> $2 billion) and they must be going to invest that into their high growth businesses, those being DSP's (digital signal processors) and DLP, (Digital Light Processing). Sounds very exiting to me. This stuff is revolutionary! -AC
