John, benign piracy is certainly not a consumer right, no more than it is your right to stick a pack of gum in your pocket while at the grocery store. Read the license agreement. It is people with your attitude that drives up the price of everything.

Do you teach your kids that it's all right to steal, even a right, as long as you don't get caught?
