charger,

I don't really have any new insights on NSCP, its just that I'm interpreting what they are saying a bit differently than the press. A case in point is the smoke screen with the browser. NSCP obviously cares about the browser, but they also understand that they have to change their direction. Refer to the 10K, and their comments about changing the business model. My co did an eval of Kiva, and would have purchased the product except that it was too expensive. Even competitors like NetDynamics admit the products capabilities. The bundled suite, as mentioned in the Citibank article, further delinates NSCP direction. I've talked to people at the company and they are very enthusiastic about their prospects given their new perspective for the corporate client. Another direction they are taking is with business to business development of e-commerce. If we accept that they don't just have another shopping cart application, then we can see some real potential.

This is less of an underdog and more of an ignored company waiting for recognintion, which is what I'm expecting after tommorow.

One guy asked me about why I wasn't buying immediately, and the only way I can respond to it is that, "Bleep happens," One of the old rules is never buy on a Friday, "ya never know what could happen over the weekend."

Good luck and load up, but watch for signs of mkt skitishness. Even though its a long term play, you've got to be cautious in this mkt.
