Hi Anyone,
Welcome to DAR. But what an issue to walk into-- DAR is usually a whole lot more frivolous than this. Seems like everyone is feisty lately.
Your point about child support is well taken. We can't really have it both ways. We are either all equally responsible-- or not. I think women are angered by men who appear to be judgmental and facile and superior with their opinions, but are not doing anything actively to change the situations that result in the perceived necessity for abortion.

THe things is--the issue may seem beyond mere mortals' abilities to decide, but there isn't anyone else to do it! And everyone has to take the responsibility of that decision on his own soul. As I said, I'm not in favor of abortion, but I would be very uncomfortable telling someone they absolutely could not, should not, will burn in hell if they do, have one. I won't do that.

And what of the man who stands before God and God says, "Hey, wait, you're the guy who wouldn't marry that little girl who just came through! And didn't you pay for that abortion?"
I don't know that he's going to let you guys off so lightly, either!
