Most mining companies would not waste time with small scale production when they have their hands on a world class gold deposit. They would expand exploration efforts and get to feasibility study as soon as possible in order to establish the most profitable way to get the gold out. SOme will say that the small scale gold operation will give them the $$ to continue exploration. Well experience has shown that this is not the way to go. It is better to get financed to support exploration programs and get to the big cash flows ASAP.
