Mr. Hal Rubel,
I guess your right, better have Microsoft take out Notepad and Wordpad. Better throw in DOS Edit. Be on the safe side and take out Paintbrush (cutting into the Adobe products) and take out the networking capability (God knows, Novell needs help).
Oh, forgot, get rid of the system tools, disk defrag, backup, scandisk, Norton Utilities might not be able to compete.
Geez, we better go back to DOS to really be safe. If we go back to DOS, then the PC users will be complaining how lacking the OS is and how they have to buy programs that should be standard in the operating system. Sounds like we are going around in circles.
Maybe we should ask Netscape to build a better browser, nah that makes too much sense. Just because Norton, MaCaffee (sp?) and 1,000's of other software firms are competing should not be taken seriously.
I mean just because the Opera browser has multiple windows open simultaneously, is much faster and free off the web, oh well.
Thank you
