Aryabhata the 'absurd'?????? Greetings Papillon. I am well aware of Indian cultural history (I can recite many Sanskrit verses and translate anything from Sanskrit if I have a grammar and Monier-Monier Williams nearby) and the absurd claims of such things at Vedic Mathematics... Speaking of Vedic Mathematics and such I was wondering whether you have read Aryabhata and his possible contribution to Astronomy and Mathematics etc??? If so have you any opinion on the man and his works????
