The DOJ said Microsoft has violated the antitrust law (doj did not give a clear definition on this) does not mean that microsoft has violated the what so called anti trust law, that is why Microsoft and DOJ's lawyers will meet in the court to challenge the suit. I think you completely misunderstood the legal processing of the United States. By reading it, it indicated to me if DOJ wins the law suit, it means in the future you probably will have to buy auto body from FORD and Engine from GM, and air conditions from other third parties, because the DOJ will not allow any company to integrate its products, it is anti consumers. And probably in the future when you buy hamburg, you can only buy the BAR from Mcdonald, and the meat from other parties, because DOJ will not allow Mcdonald to integrate the beef from its own farm to be bundled into the bar and sold as one single product ----- > the Hamburg. And thousands of business conducts in the market now are violating the DOJ's antitrust law, and you will see thousands of law suits being filed after this .
