Think about the time frame to decide, then file, then earnings. What matters is the actual timing of his sale. Since six 144s were filed in April and May which are the second and third month of Q1, the questions are what did the CFO know and when did he know it at the time he disposed of his 2/3 holdings (presumably in April and/or May, weeks before the preannouncement)?
