Not familiar with those bands. I pretty much have created my own music scene, drawing from musicians who perform in the clubs up and down Massachusetts Avenue. Every now and then there's overlap, and who knows who gets into the scene. It's a big one!
Myself? I'm perfectly happy hanging onto Zulu until the stock has had a fair shot at going after Doubleclick. Overall, though it's been extremely frustrating, I like what has come together and what I perceive might well be coming together.
Someone earlier posted that Rudholm reserved a domain registration for MyTel, an international long distance telephone company. Someone earlier on this thread also mentioned MyYellowPages. I'm not sure exactly what MyYellowPages is all about. The Mytel thing came onto this thread today (0r was it yesterday--things move so quickly); the MyYellowPages thing somebody was talking about on this thread a couple of weeks ago.
With my gatling gun-type brain I started thinking about the two of them together, and here's what I came up with: Is it possible that Zulu's planning on entering the video teleconferencing arena as part of its electronic commerce strategy? In other words, long distance video teleconference phone calls, replete with advertising while on hold waiting for respective connections? Cable t.v. modem speed adds some plausibility to this thinking, does it not?
Now, Aleta, before you go accusing me of "planting" another idea into people's consciousness stream, please note my above words: "Is it possible..." Thank you. |
