Emile, I will respond in full to all that you have proclaimed, but first I have a question for you.

Do you honestly believe that Jewish Christians (I'll use this term for a lack of a better one) are deceived? That they should not hold to Jewish customs, festivals, etc. because it is of the "synagogue of Satan". Would it be better if they recognized Christmas and Easter, holidays rooted in pagan worship.

Emile, I think that you and I can agree on about 99.99% of the Bible. My only disagreement with you is with the nature of how God views His "chosen people" today. I know you will say that the "chosen people" are now the Christian church, having supplanted the nation of Israel. My contention is that that may not be all wrong, but at the same time, not completely correct either. The view I hold presently is that God has "put aside" Israel for now in favor of the Church, but will deal with them one more time at the end of history. I was discipled in the Church of Christ (not the one that forbids musical instruments), attended one of their colleges, studied under one of the most prominent covenant theologians alive today, so I know that position well.

I will honestly tell you that I can see both arguments, and that I presently lean toward the view that God has "put aside" the nation of Israel. My studies are not complete on this matter.

Emile, who are we to answer back to God! Can He not control the nations for His purpose?

One last comment, many posts back you said that the Jews killed Jesus. (If I'm mistaken here please forgive me.) Emile, the Jews didn't kill Jesus, the Romans (Gentiles) were the ones that carried out the physical act of crucifixion. But in reality it was God Himself that killed His only begotten Son, in fact you could say that Jesus killed Himself! He willingly gave His life, no man took it! WE ALL KILLED JESUS, AND ARE CONTINUING TO DO SO BY SINNING!
