I find that I need at least 600 MHz to run Silicon Investor on IE4.0. If I want the Weather Channel forecast simultaneously, I'm sure it will require at least a gigahertz and 4 CPU's.

My understanding is that Shakespeare and Einstein both had top of the line Intel systems to assist them in their creative endeavors. You or Yousef should be able to confirm this, since you were pretty tight with those guys.

If Dan Quayle had a $4000 Xeon with 2MB L2 he probably would have caught that nasty "potatoe" thing in time.

BTW: When I want to do real work I do it on my Ultrasparc under Solaris. There is no substitute for a real computer running a real OS.
