I'd prefer to meet on mine (or should I say MINE, sorry, finally connected on a pick) :-). Before the yacht, tho' I need to pay off the mortgage...and the student loans...and the car...and probably take the family on a decent vacation...so it might be a while.
Far as TA goes. I'm getting more comfortable. Wish I had the time to really dig into it. I do believe the oscillators can do well to predict atypical selling in almost all issues. And, when taken in context of the current trend, can help significantly. I reentered some real pennies (PKGP, MINE, TNRG) based on the charts and rumors (or recent lack thereof) and have done well w/2 so far.
Also, I am still matching the TA up w/some DD, and listening for the herd. So it's not a stand alone strategy. I do believe it helps. It definitely provides an unemotional vote.
More TA... Most oscillators remain fairly OS, bouncing near their recent bottoms or falling off further. 2 very obvious graphs run counter to the price: Chaikin Oscillator, and ADX/R8. I'm trying to revisit the definitions of the indicators I use, since I'm fairly comfortable w/what they show, I want to get back in to how they're derived. I may pay more attention to CO as my main trender. ADX has been on a steady rise since the $4 level prior to the late April run up. ADX does not seem to be part of a larger trend; w/Co it's too early to tell. Still sitting on the sidelines. LB |
