Language is hard for computers, it's not a straight-line sort of process, when a word has more than one meaning the computer likely just chooses the most common. Puerto Ordaz. - The Canadian transnational company Crystallex International Corp
put into operation the Imataca Foundation, through its subsidiary in Venezuela,
Minera Venamo, who, among other objectives, will support environmental policies.
The director of Crystallex and member of the board of directors of the Foundation
Imataca, Enrique Tejera Par¡s, said that this organization also will generate activities
designed to aid the social, economic and cultural progress of the mining communities of the State of Bol¡var.
Among the immediate plans of the foundation are the construction of a
small hospital in the population of the Claritas, in the Sifontes Municipality (Bolivar) to
attend to the workers of the company and members of the community and to offer support to transients. [ed - of which there are, I understand, many. 'Transients' isn't really the right word, 'homeless' would be better, but not in the way we use it in Canada, 'nomadically inclined within the bounds of the general area' would work, but it's too long]
The project will be complemented by the construction of a landing strip and the purchase of an ambulance to serve the workers of the Albino mine, located at kilometer 88. Startup of operations of the mine awaits only the authorization of the Ministry of Energy and Mines, and will generate more than 200 direct jobs, said Tejera.
