Scotsman, MEMC's plant at Utsonomiya supplies their Japanese customers pretty exclusively now that the Taiwan plant is online. Net effect of Yen fluctuations is zero. Utso is also another center for 300mm development, but the Japanese are not moving as aggresively in that direction as others.

Overall, a drop in the yen to 150 would be a net negative for WFR as SEH and Sumitomo export a lot of crystal for finishing elsewhere. If that crystal gets cheaper, the wafers do,too.

I think there'll be a general bounce today, but it will quickly run out of steam and we'll be testing some 52 week lows again.
