Last week the patent, this week the NVIDIA alliance.
SNNT is starting to deliver on what they talked about in the shareholder's meeting. Looks like things a starting to come together. Hold on to your hats.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 1998--
Synthonics Technologies, Inc. (OBB:SNNT), a developer of advanced
3-D image creation tools, has formed a strategic alliance with NVIDIA
Corporation, Sunnyvale, Calif., a leading provider of 3-D processors
for the mainstream market. The two companies will promote and
cross-market advanced interactive 3-D graphics technologies, software
development tools and specialized multimedia hardware to educators in
order to expand the use of three-dimensional images for the
educational market.
The partnership is expected to deliver cost-effective,
state-of-the-art PC-based 3-D graphics into the educational
marketplace for the first time.
"Our mission is to remove the access barrier that prevents the vast
majority of educators, students, researchers and others interested in
learning through interactive participation from personally examining
objects and exploring environments digitally just as if they were
present," Mike Budd, president and chief executive officer,
Synthonics Technologies, said. "Because Synthonics and NVIDIA are
each at the forefront of their respective technologies, we expect
this partnership to benefit all those interested in interactive
education."
In the past, the use of 3-D graphics in educational PC software
programs has been severely limited by microprocessor speeds, the size
of image data files and the high cost of modeling and rendering
realistic full-depth images on graphics workstations. Synthonics and
NVIDIA will work with third party developers to create the type of
compelling, interactive presentations that PC users are accustomed to
experiencing only with computer games.
By combining the low cost 3-D content generation features of
Synthonics "Rapid Virtual Reality"(tm) (RVR(tm)) software tools with the
advanced graphics acceleration capabilities of the RIVA processors
from NVIDIA, price and performance barriers can become a thing of the
past.
"We are committed to the vision that interactive 3-D graphics will
transform the way we use our computers," Jen-Hsun Huang, president
and CEO, NVIDIA, said. "With Synthonics' amazing technology, we can
now study and interact with intricate 3-D digital replicas of
real-world objects. Combined with the high quality and real-time
rendering enabled by NVIDIA's 3-D processors, I expect this
interactive capability to make a profound impact on education,
communications and electronic commerce."

Producing Affordable 3-D Images

Synthonics' patented RVR software technology allows for a more
complete examination of objects than previously available to PC
users. Using Synthonics' proprietary software to create 3-D images
allows anyone with a PC to extract information from 3-D digital
replicas of educational objects in the same manner as if they could
handle the item itself. These complete, accurate 3-D images can be
viewed, examined, animated and inserted into other 2-D and 3-D
multimedia environments.
Synthonics' photogrammetric process makes it possible to convert
static still images into accurate 3-D digital models that can be
thoroughly examined on a PC. The patented image modeling technology
offers the only affordable, yet accurate method for creating and
displaying complete, photo-realistic 3-D models.

Work with the Smithsonian

This partnership with NVIDIA helps Synthonics increase its
involvement within the educational arena. Synthonics is currently
fulfilling two major contacts with the Smithsonian Institution. The
company has been called upon to create 3-D replicas of seldom seen
artifacts and exhibits from the nation's premier historical and
cultural institution. Synthonics will use the digital replicas to
create multimedia CD-ROMs and other interactive digital presentations
that let the public interact with hundreds of artifacts housed in the
Smithsonian's 16 diverse museums, at home on standard PCs.
