Merryl Lynch broker tells me that NOVL is in secret negotiations with a potential buyer and that the buyer could be IBM. His estimate of the takeover price is $18/share. He also tells me that the NOVL-IBM rumour is building momentum on the street and that last weeks sudden surge to $12 was an insider involved in the negotiation process. Not that the insider bought the entire batch himself but that he or someone leaked the word. NOVL options expiring between March/97 and June/97 are a great buy...but only those "in the money". The day we have all been waiting for could be upon us. Good luck to everyone. You can'nt possibly lose in this deal. V.K
