Chuck, with all due respect. As humans , lets hope and pray that we dont create another Hitler, or another Stalin or another Saddam( wait a minute,we already did) or we dont ever have chaos and nationalistic dictators dont come to power. Force and the threat of force is a fact of life. Man's inhumanity towards man is horrifying when you look at history. I am not nuclear weapons defender but they have played a significant role in shaping the world. How many lives were saved after Hiroshima? Were any bloody clashes with Russia avoided? The Collapse of the Soviet empire has made the world different. Nuclear weapons have played a Major role in our history and it is likely that they will continue in the future, HH PS, Since this is an econimc forum, lets cool it. We wont resolve this issue. Let's show how peaceable we really are.
