A bizarre statement. How Microsoft becoming a regulated utility would compel anyone to buy their products escaes me. Please explain. The usual step after regulation is to make competition illegal. This is the pattern with local phone service, cable TV, etc. It's all in the "public interest", you see. Forgive them for they do foresee the wrath that they bring.
