St. Jude New Drilling Confirms Father Brown Zone

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--St. Jude Resources Ltd. is pleased to
announce further diamond drill results from the Father Brown zone
on the Hwini-Butre Concession in Ghana, West Africa.

As announced in the Company's last news release, an exploratory
hole in this area was drilled to the east at a dip of 45 degrees.
This drill hole, now designated FBZ 1, intersected a promising
10.23 g/t Au over the first 24 meters. The zone between 18 to 24
meters averaged 38.08 g/t Au. Based on FBZ 1, the company drilled
four new holes from the same drill setup to test the extent of
high grade mineralization.

All four new holes were drilled on an east-west plane in order to
intersect the mineralized zone at successively greater depths from
surface. In each case the drill core was split and one-half was
sent to SGS Laboratories for preparation and testing. The results
of all five holes in the Father Brown zone are set out below:

/T/

Drill Hole Direction Dip Interval Assayed Results
No.

FBZ 1 East -45 degrees 18m - 24m 38.08 g/t Au / 6m

FBZ 2 East -65 degrees 19m - 25m 24.14 g/t Au / 6m

FBZ 3 Vertical -90 degrees 21m - 30m 4.05 g/t Au / 9m

FBZ 4 West -75 degrees 30m - 44m 37.57 g/t Au / 14m
Including 9 m 30m - 39m 57.45 g/t Au / 9m

FBZ 5 West -65 degrees 44m - 58m 5.31 g/t Au / 14m

SGS Laboratories conducted duplicate checks on all high grade
assays. These samples were also shipped to Canada for assay
verification by Chemex Laboratories in North Vancouver.
Variations between assayed samples were found to be within a
normally acceptable range. The company is confident that the
grades of the intersections, as published above, are accurate and
conservatively stated.

By way of example, the 9 meter high grade section within FBZ-4 has
been separately assayed by SGS and by Chemex. The results are as
follows:

SGS Chemex

FBZ-4-31 3.10 5.71
FBZ-4-32 6.34 6.86
FBZ-4-33 .91 .71
FBZ-4-34 5.92 6.10
FBZ-4-35 .81 .72
FBZ-4-36 20.45 14.35
FBZ-4-37 94.47 153.20
FBZ-4-38 330.33 347.00
FBZ-4-39 54.90 56.07
-------- --------
Average 57.45 g/t Au 65.63 g/t Au
over 9m over 9m

The deposit contains exceptional quantities of visible gold. The
presence of this visible gold is an invaluable asset in
appreciating grades of this caliber.

The company is in the process of planning new drill pads to trace
the strike of the Father Brown zone both to the north and to the
south. Construction of these new drill pads will commence
shortly.

A cross-section of the Father Brown zone, as illustrated by the
five drill intersections, is attached to this release or can be
obtained through the Internet at the www.cdn-news.com website.
