VARBUSINESS ran the following on OneWorld 5000 Server. It gives more info on pricing, availability, etc. And the new web site address. The product is starting to peak my interest, and I will consider buying on anything below $1 AS A PURE GAMBLE, AND STILL AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT MANAGEMENT's ABILITY TO PULL THIS OFF. That being said, the product, which is clearly the old rumored New York Box, has some appeal and could make the remainder of the company attractive if GVIL executes well. (That is a big if, given past track record.) We also know that the have sold off EVERYTHING they could to get cash, so this is their last chance. They have burned through tuns of it. I wish them luck.

Keep posting your thoughts Marc. I appreciate the insight.

One server Does it All
By David Myron

Product: OneWorld's 5000 Suite Server

Why buy: OneWorld Systems Inc., formerly known as Global Village
Communication, released the OneWorld 5000 Suite Server for growing small
and midsize businesses. The server enhances manageability by combining
Internet access and routing, remote access, online service access and fax
capabilities into one unit. The Dynamic Port Allocation technology lowers
costs by enabling Remote Access, Internet Routing, Send Fax, Receive Fax
and network modem services on single phone lines. The product can be
purchased with as few as four modems and can expand to support BRI or a

T-1 line. The estimated VAR margin is between 20 to 25 points.

Key specs: The server combines OneWorld's Fax Server and Remote
Access Server (RAS). The fax server is a networked client-server solution
that connects to a LAN, giving access to an enterprise-level, centralized fax
server. A remote access management application is bundled with the RAS,
allowing a system administrator to decide who has dial-in authorization, the
amount of access time and Internet access privileges.

Available: July; only from authorized distributors

Price: $4,595 (street)
