Well, it doesnt dilute the common as the comparable shares for conversion are already in the number of outstanding shares for the common and are held in the company treasury. However, it does add to the number of free trading shares in the float, it changes that figure, rather. But hopefully, people will be holding as opposed to trading those shares and it takes away shorting ability. However, you might want to ask someone more experienced than I, in case I am the only one to respond to your post. Charger
