Jarrod, The thought of a "Short Squeeze" is always a nice one, but unfortunately, I have heard that song and dance so many times its not even funny.

However, the only way to squeeze a short is to eliminate their ability to obtain shares. One way to do this is to call for certificates, hence removing your shares from available free trading shares.

Since I have never heard of anyone wanting a certificate for a warrant, it would make far more sense to eliminate it by exercising it, not by holding it. If you hold it in your account, the MMs and shorters still have access to it, hence, accomplishing nothing.

:-)
