Rob, guess I'm saying that the current stock price already has good earnings expectations built in, and that IMO ORCL is richly valued compared to its historic norms. I've seen similar opinions expressed in the media, think Barron's a few weeks ago might have been one such place. Coca Cola is another BTW. Great companies both, but stock prices are at the upper end of their channels, technically.

It's been my observation that, usually, it's just a matter of weeks before prices oscillate back toward the lower end of the channel, then back up and so forth. I think there's more near term risk in ORCL than reward right here, especially with the overall market at all time highs.

I'm long in a bunch of stocks that have been laggards (semi's and semi-equip's), so I'm looking to build a nest egg with profits from puts on companies that appear overvalued. I'll only follow through on ORCL if its price hits 49 or above in the next week or so.

Regards :-)

Paul
