Serious Game Players:

For those with an old Pentium, you can now upgrade your socket 7 system of about $300 to get your system to be better than PII-400.
$99 for FIC-503+ 100MHz board and $200 for the K6-2-300. You can play QUAKE II and Incoming like you have a PII-500.

I just bought a cheap K6-266 for $130 and overclocked to 333MHz. I ran Wintune 97 and got 650MIPs. My K6-250 was at 520MIPs. The K6-333 was run at 83MHz with 4X multiplier. The system is blazingly fast. MS Office applications ran very fast. My next chip will be a K6-2-266 overclocking to 333.
