Solid:
---->Even Health Secretary D. Schalayla was not critical of Pfizer at all. She simply emphasized the need this places for individuals using Viagra (and other meds) to read the warning labels and cautionary statements.
I wonder what percentage of doctors issuing prescriptions for Viagra have been detailed and exposed to the potential problems.....???
probally all of the good doctors ,
and
hopefully none of the readers here on SI have any of the rest for their primary health providers................
---->The underlying fundamentals on Viagra have not altered. Had Pfizer been ignorant of this synergistic reaction or tried to cover it up, forget it. They were not and have not.
The best reflection of all the reaction is ----- ......."forget about it....."
I've owned Pfizer since it was Chas Pfizer..........
wish I'd been smart enough to have owned a BUNCH more....... for a long time......
as a matter of fact , I looked on my oldest certificate and the year of purchase was ----------- 1980 ------------ so, I'm among the elder owners or PFE who are posting here......
I consulted my personal doctor, who is a close personal friend also, about the issuance of prescriptions, especially, and including Viagra..............
he told me,
this is what I inform my patients to do....... .. and I quote......
"Read labels. Follow directions. Use when needed, as directed."
AND
he also informed me ----- to his knowledge, that none of his fellow doctors (numbering in the several dozens ) had written any prescriptions for Viagra without a full medical workup ...........
AND
none of which had included , due to the information received from Pfizer,
ANY
heart ailment patients proscribed with nitro/type medications
due to the potential problems which were inherent with nitro/type medications which had been covered by the Pfizer detail man ........
AND
that he had , as well as MOST of his fellow doctors, to his knowledge, had purchased stock in PFE.
due to the potential for price enhancement ///////
