So let me get this right. Nam Tai is buying a minority position in a publicly traded(?) HK company? So they spend some cash, but add nothing to their earnings, I assume.

Sounds like another Koo trade coming. Once the Group Sense stock goes up, he'll sell for another non-operating gain. Might be profitable, but it sure isn't building the company. Maybe Nam Tai should change themselves into a hedge fund, that seems to be how management is running it.
